What exactly is a Solid State Drive (SSD)?
Hard Disk Drives (HDD's) use spinning platters with a read/write head on a mechanical arm to record data, Solid State Drives use flash memory. SSDs primary speed advantage stems from containing no moving parts. Read and write times are greatly improved. SSDs can perform thousands of input/output operations every second while standard hard disk drives can only perform hundreds. An HDDs spinning platter spins to find the piece of data it is looking for, continually rotating as it finds its next piece of data. This can create bottlenecks because these platters can only spin so fast. With an SSD, the server can quickly pick and choose the pieces of data it needs because it is powered by flash memory. It also makes no difference that the data is not in sequential order.

How do I transfer my Website to your Servers?
If you have built your Website with a HTML editor, like Dreamweaver or NotePad++, You would upload your website files via a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program. We have a built in File Manager that you can access with our cPanel. However, if your files are larger than 20 MB, we recommend using FTP programs, such as WinSCP or Core FTP
